6 Now it happened that on another Sabbath he entered into the synagogue and was teaching, and a man was there, and his right hand was withered.

Luke 6:6

And it came to pass also on another sabbath
Whether the following sabbath, or some time after, is not certain,

that he entered into the synagogue.
The Arabic version reads, "into their synagogue", as in ( Matthew 12:9 ) the synagogue of the Jews; in what place, whether at Capernaum, or some other city of Galilee, is not so clear: and taught;
explained the Scriptures to the people, and instructed them in the doctrines of the Gospel:

and there was a man whose right hand was withered;
who was in the synagogue, and one of his hearers; (See Gill on Matthew 12:10)

5 And he said to them, "The Son of Man is Lord of the Sabbath."

6 Now it happened that on another Sabbath he entered into the synagogue and was teaching, and a man was there, and his right hand was withered.

7 So the scribes and the Pharisees were watching closely [to see] if he would heal on the Sabbath, in order that they could find [a reason] to accuse him.

8 But he knew their thoughts and said to the man who had the withered hand, "Get up and stand in the middle," and he got up [and] stood there.
