Haggai 2:1

In the seventh [month]
The month Tisri, which answers to part of September and part of October: in the one and twentieth [day] of the month;
being a month, wanting three days, from the time the Jews came and worked in the house of the Lord, ( Haggai 1:14 Haggai 1:15 ) it was toward the close of the feast of tabernacles: see ( Leviticus 23:34 ) : came the word of the Lord by the Prophet Haggai;
the word of prophecy, as the Targum: this was from the Lord, not from the prophet himself; he was only the messenger sent with it to deliver it: saying;
to him the prophet, giving him orders as follow:

2 Parle à Zorobabel, fils de Schealthiel, gouverneur de Juda, à Josué, fils de Jotsadak, le souverain sacrificateur, et au reste du peuple, et dis-leur:

3 Quel est parmi vous le survivant Qui ait vu cette maison dans sa gloire première? Et comment la voyez-vous maintenant? Telle qu'elle est, ne paraît-elle pas comme rien à vos yeux?

4 Maintenant fortifie-toi, Zorobabel! dit l'Eternel. Fortifie-toi, Josué, fils de Jotsadak, souverain sacrificateur! Fortifie-toi, peuple entier du pays! dit l'Eternel. Et travaillez! Car je suis avec vous, Dit l'Eternel des armées.

5 Je reste fidèle à l'alliance que j'ai faite avec vous Quand vous sortîtes de l'Egypte, Et mon esprit est au milieu de vous; Ne craignez pas!
