There are varieties of effects, but the same1God who worksallthings in all persons.
But to eachone is given the manifestation of the Spirit2for the commongood.
For to one is given the word of 3wisdomthrough the Spirit, and to another the word of 4knowledgeaccording to the sameSpirit;
to another5faithaby the sameSpirit, and to another6gifts of bhealingcby the oneSpirit,
and to another the deffecting of e7miracles, and to another8prophecy, and to another the f9distinguishing of spirits, to another various 10kinds of tongues, and to another the 11interpretation of tongues.
But one and the sameSpiritworksallthesethings, 12distributing to eachoneindividuallyjust as He wills.
For even13as the body is one and yet hasmanymembers, and all the members of the body, though they are many, are onebody, 14soalso is Christ.
For g15by oneSpirit we were allbaptized into onebody, whether16JewsorGreeks, whetherslavesorfree, and we were allmade to 17drink of oneSpirit.
For 18the body is not onemember, but many.
15If the footsays, "Because I am not a hand, I am not a part of the body," it is not for thisreasonhany the less a part of the body.
And if the earsays, "Because I am not an eye, I am not a part of the body," it is not for thisreasoniany the less a part of the body.
