12NowifChrist is preached, that He has been raised from the dead, how do someamong you say that there 1is noresurrection of the dead ?
13
But if there is noresurrection of the dead, not evenChrist has been raised ;
14
and 2ifChrist has not been raised, then our preaching is vain, your faithalso is vain.
15Moreover we are evenfound to be falsewitnesses of God, because we testifiedaagainstGod that He 3raisedbChrist, whom He did not raise, if in fact the dead are not raised.
16
For if the dead are not raised, not evenChrist has been raised ;
17
and ifChrist has not been raised, your faith is worthless ; 4you are still in your sins.
18Thenthosealso who 5have fallenasleep in Christ have perished.
19If we have hoped in Christ in thislifeonly, we are 6of allmenmost to be pitied.
20
But nowChrist7has been raised from the dead, the 8firstfruits of those who 9are asleep.
21
For since10by a man came death, by a manalso came the resurrection of the dead.
22
For 11as in Adamalldie, soalso in cChristall will be madealive.
23
But each in his ownorder : Christ12the firstfruits, after that 13thosewho are Christ's at 14His coming,
24then comes the end, when He hands over 15the kingdom to the 16God and Father, when He has abolished17allrule and allauthority and power.
