1 John 3:3-7

3 And everyone who has this ¹hope fixed on Him ²purifies himself, just as He is pure.

4 Everyone who practices sin also practices lawlessness; and ³sin is lawlessness.

5 You know that He ⁴appeared in order to ⁵take away sins; and ⁶in Him there is no sin.

6 No * one who abides in Him ⁷sins; no * one who sins has seen Him or ⁸knows Him.

7 ⁹Little children, make sure no one ¹⁰deceives you; ¹¹the one who practices righteousness is righteous, just as He is righteous;
