We are not 1againcommendingourselves to you but are giving you an 2occasion to be proud of us, so that you will have an answer for those who takepride in appearance and not in heart.
For if we aare 3besideourselves, it is for God; if we are of soundmind, it is for you.
For the love of Christ4controls us, having concludedthis, that 5onedied for all, thereforealldied;
and He died for all, so that they who live might nolonger6live for themselves, but for Him who died and roseagain on their behalf.
16Therefore from now on we recognizenooneb7according to the flesh; eventhough we have knownChristcaccording to the flesh, yetnow we know Him in this way nolonger.
17Thereforeifanyone is 8in Christ, dhe is 9a newcreature; 10the oldthingspassedaway; behold, newthings have come.
18Now11all these things are from God, 12whoreconciled us to HimselfthroughChrist and gave us the 13ministry of reconciliation,
19namely, that 14God was in Christreconciling the world to Himself, 15not counting their trespasses against them, and eHe has fcommitted to us the word of reconciliation.
20Therefore, we are 16ambassadors for Christ, 17as thoughGod were making an appealthrough us; we beg you on behalf of Christ, be 18reconciled to God.
He made Him who 19knewnosin to be 20sin on our behalf, so that we might become the 21righteousness of God in Him.
