that you abstain from 6thingssacrificed to idols and from 7blood and from 8thingsstrangled and from 9fornication; if you keepyourselvesfree from suchthings, you will dowell. Farewell."

So when they were sentaway, 10they wentdown to Antioch; and having gathered the congregationtogether, they delivered the letter.

When they had read it, they rejoicedbecause of its encouragement.

11Judas and 12Silas, alsobeing13prophetsthemselves, encouraged and strengthened14the brethren with a lengthymessage.

After they had spenttime there, they were sentaway from the brethren15in peace to those who had 16sent them out.

But 17Paul and Barnabasstayed in Antioch, teaching and 18preaching with manyothersalso, 19the word of the Lord.

36AftersomedaysPaulsaid to Barnabas, "Let us return and visit the brethren in 20everycity in which we proclaimed21the word of the Lord, and see how they are."
