Acts 22:9-19

"And those who were with me 1saw the light, to be sure, but 2did not understand the voice of the One who was speaking to me.
"And I said, '3What shall I do, Lord?' And the Lord said to me, 'Get up and go on into Damascus, and there you will be told of all that has been appointed for you to do.'

"And he said, '9The God of our fathers has 10appointed you to know His will and to 11see the 12Righteous One and to hear an utterance from His mouth.
'For you will be 13a witness for Him to all men of 14what you have seen and heard.
'Now why do you delay? 15Get up and be baptized, and 16wash away your sins, 17calling on His name.'
"It happened when I 18returned to Jerusalem and was praying in the temple, that I 19fell into a trance,
and I saw Him saying to me, '20Make haste, and get out of Jerusalem quickly, because they will not accept your testimony about Me.'
