Deuteronomy 28:45

45 "So all these curses shall come on you and pursue you and overtake you 1until you are destroyed, because you would not obey * the LORD your God by keeping His commandments and His statutes which He commanded you.

Deuteronomy 28:45

Moreover, all these curses shall come upon thee
Before related, as well as what follow:

and shall pursue thee, and overtake thee till thou be destroyed;
which though they would endeavour to flee from and escape, should not be able, since they would follow them so closely and swiftly, and overtake them, and seize upon them; see ( Deuteronomy 28:15 ) ;

because thou hearkenedst not unto the voice of the Lord thy God, to
keep his commandments and his statutes which he commanded thee;
to which disobedience all the curses are to be imputed that go before or follow after.
