Made Alive in Christ

1 And you ^awere ¹dead ^bin your trespasses and sins, 2 in which you ²formerly walked according to the ^ccourse of ³this world, according to ⁴the prince of the power of the air, of the spirit that is now working in ⁵the sons of disobedience. 3 Among them we too all ⁶formerly lived in ⁷the lusts of our flesh, ^dindulging the desires of the flesh and of the ^emind, and were ⁸by nature ⁹children of wrath, ¹⁰even as the rest. 4 But God, being ¹¹rich in mercy, because of ¹²His great love with which He loved us, 5 even when we were ¹³dead ^fin our transgressions, made us alive together ^gwith Christ (¹⁴by grace you have been saved ), 6 and ¹⁵raised us up with Him, and ¹⁶seated us with Him in ¹⁷the heavenly places in ¹⁸Christ Jesus, 7 so that in the ages to come He might show the surpassing ¹⁹riches of His grace in ²⁰kindness toward us in Christ Jesus. 8 For ²¹by grace you have been saved ²²through faith ; and ^hthat not of yourselves, it is ²³the gift of God ;
