10 Finally, 1be strong in the Lord and in 2the strength of His might. 11 3Put on the full armor of God, so that you will be able to stand firm against the 4schemes of the devil. 12 For our 5struggle is not against a6flesh and blood, but 7against the rulers, against the powers, against the 8world forces of this 9darkness, against the 10spiritual forces of wickedness in 11the heavenly places. 13 Therefore , take up 12the full armor of God, so that you will be able to 13resist in 14the evil day, and having done everything, to stand firm. 14 Stand firm therefore, 15HAVING GIRDED YOUR LOINS WITH TRUTH, and HAVING 16PUT ON THE BREASTPLATE OF RIGHTEOUSNESS, 15 and having 17shod YOUR FEET WITH THE PREPARATION OF THE GOSPEL OF PEACE ; 16 bin addition to all, taking up the 18shield of faith with which you will be able to extinguish all the 19flaming arrows of 20the evil one. 17 And take 21THE HELMET OF SALVATION, and the 22sword of the Spirit, which is 23the word of God. 18 cWith all 24prayer and petition d25pray at all times 26in the Spirit, and with this in view, e27be on the alert with all 28perseverance and 29petition for all the saints, 19 and 30pray on my behalf, that utterance may be given to me 31in the opening of my mouth, to make known with 32boldness 33the mystery of the gospel, 20 for which I am an 34ambassador 35in fchains ; that gin proclaiming it I may speak 36boldly, 37as I ought to speak. 21 38But that you also may know about my circumstances , hhow I am doing, 39Tychicus, 40the beloved brother and faithful minister in the Lord, will make everything known to you. 22 i41I have sent him to you for this very purpose, so that you may know jabout us, and that he may 42comfort your hearts. 23 43Peace be to the brethren, and 44love with faith, from God the Father and the Lord Jesus Christ. 24 Grace be with all those who love our Lord Jesus Christ kwith incorruptible love.New American Standard Bible Copyright © 1960, 1962, 1968, 1971, 1972, 1973, 1975, 1977, 1995 by The Lockman Foundation, La Habra, California.
