But I say, 1walk by the Spirit, and you will not carry out 2the desire of the flesh.
17
For 3the flesh asets its desire against the Spirit, and the Spirit against the flesh ; for these are in opposition to one another, 4so that you may not do the things that you bplease.
18
But if you are 5led by the Spirit, 6you are not under the Law.
19
Now the deeds of the flesh are evident, which are: c7immorality, impurity, sensuality,
20
idolatry, 8sorcery, enmities, 9strife, jealousy, outbursts of anger, 10disputes, dissensions, d11factions,
21
envying, 12drunkenness, carousing, and things like these, of which I forewarn you, just as I have forewarned you, that those who practice such things will not 13inherit the kingdom of God.
22
But 14the fruit of the Spirit is 15love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness,
23
gentleness, 16self-control ; against such things 17there is no law.
24
Now those who ebelong to 18Christ Jesus have 19crucified the flesh with its passions and 20desires.
25
If we live by the Spirit, let us also fwalk 21by the Spirit.
26
Let us not become 22boastful, challenging one another, envying one another.
