251See to it that you do not refuse Him who is 2speaking. For 3ifthose did not escape when they 4refused him who 5warned them on earth, amuchless will we escape who turnaway from Him who 6warns from heaven.
And 7His voiceshook the earththen, but now He has promised, saying, "8YETONCEMORE I WILL SHAKE NOT ONLY THE EARTH, BUT ALSO THE HEAVEN."
27This expression, "Yetoncemore," denotes9the removing of those things which can be shaken, as of createdthings, so that those things which cannot be shaken may remain.
28Therefore, since we receive a 10kingdom which cannot be shaken, let us bshowgratitude, by which we may 11offer to God an acceptableservice with reverence and awe;
for 12our God is a consumingfire.
