4"Behold, I have made12him a witness to the peoples, A 13leader and commander for the peoples.
5"Behold, you will call a 14nation you do not know, And a nation which knows you not will 15run to you, Because of the LORD your God, even the HolyOne of Israel; For He has 16glorified you."
617Seek the LORD while He may be found; 18Call upon Him while He is near.
719Let the wickedforsake his way And the unrighteousman his 20thoughts; And let him 21return to the LORD, And He will have22compassion on him, And to our God, For He will 23abundantlypardon.
"For My thoughts are not 24your thoughts, Nor are 25your ways My ways," declares the LORD.
"For 26as the heavens are higherthan the earth, So are My wayshigherthan your ways And My thoughtsthan your thoughts.
"For as the 27rain and the snowcomedown from heaven, And do not returntherewithoutwatering the earth And making it bear and sprout, And furnishing28seed to the sower and bread to the eater;
11So will My 29word be whichgoesforth from My mouth; It will 30not return to Me empty, Without31accomplishingwhat I desire, And without succeeding in the matter for which I sent it.
"For you will go out with 32joy And be ledforth with 33peace; The 34mountains and the hills will breakforth into shouts of joybefore you, And all the 35trees of the field will clap their hands.
13"Instead of the 36thornbush the 37cypress will come up, And instead of the 38nettle the myrtle will come up, And eit will be a f39memorial to the LORD, For an everlasting40sign which 41will not be cutoff."
