"5I am the door; ifanyoneentersthrough Me, he will be saved, and will go* in and out and findpasture.

"The thiefcomesonly** to steal and kill and destroy; I came that they 6may havelife, and have it abundantly.

"7I am the goodshepherd; the goodshepherd8laysdown His life for the sheep.

"He who is a hiredhand, and not a 9shepherd, who is not the owner of the sheep, sees the wolfcoming, and leaves the sheep and flees, and the wolfsnatches them and scatters them.

"He flees because he is a hiredhand and is not concernedabout the sheep.

"10I am the goodshepherd, and 11I know My own and My ownknow Me,
