Jesusanswered and said, "1Thisvoice has not come for My sake, but for your sakes.

"2Nowjudgment is upon thisworld; now3the ruler of thisworld will be cast out.

"And I, if I 4am lifted up from the earth, will 5drawallmen to Myself."

But He was sayingthis6to indicate the kind of death by which He was to die.

The crowdthenanswered Him, "We have heard out of 7the Law that 8the Christ is to remainforever; and how can You say, 'The 9Son of Manmust be 10lifted up'? Who is this11Son of Man?"

SoJesussaid to them, "12For a littlewhilelonger13the Light is among you. 14Walkwhile you have the Light, so that darkness will not overtake you; he who 15walks in the darkness does not knowwhere he goes.

"While you have the Light, 16believe in the Light, so that you may become17sons of Light."ThesethingsJesusspoke, and He wentaway and 18hid Himself from them.
