'1Even the dust of your city which clings to our feet we wipeoff in protest against you; yet be sure of this, that 2the kingdom of God has comenear.'

"5Woe to you, 6Chorazin! Woe to you, 7Bethsaida! For if the miracles had been performed in 8Tyre and Sidonwhichoccurred in you, they would have repentedlongago, sitting in 9sackcloth and ashes.

"But it will be moretolerable for 10Tyre and Sidon in the judgmentthan for you.

"And you, 11Capernaum, will not be exalted to heaven, will you? You will be broughtdown to Hades!

"12The one who listens to you listens to Me, and 13the one who rejects you rejects Me; and he who rejects Me rejects the One who sent Me."

"Nevertheless do not rejoice in this, that the spirits are subject to you, but rejoice that 17your names are recorded in heaven."

18At that verytime He rejoicedgreatly in the HolySpirit, and said, "I praise You, O Father, Lord of heaven and earth, that You have hiddenthesethings from the wise and intelligent and have revealed them to infants. Yes, Father, for thisway was well-pleasing in Your sight.
