"Whatevercity you enter and they receive you, 1eat what is setbefore you;

and healthose in it who are sick, and say to them, '2The kingdom of God has comenear to you.'

"But whatever*city you enter and they do not receive you, go out into its streets and say,

'3Even the dust of your city which clings to our feet we wipeoff in protest against you; yet be sure of this, that 4the kingdom of God has comenear.'

"I say to you, 5it will be moretolerable in that day for 6Sodomthan for that city.

"7Woe to you, 8Chorazin! Woe to you, 9Bethsaida! For if the miracles had been performed in 10Tyre and Sidonwhichoccurred in you, they would have repentedlongago, sitting in 11sackcloth and ashes.

"But it will be moretolerable for 12Tyre and Sidon in the judgmentthan for you.

"And you, 13Capernaum, will not be exalted to heaven, will you? You will be broughtdown to Hades!

"14The one who listens to you listens to Me, and 15the one who rejects you rejects Me; and he who rejects Me rejects the One who sent Me."
