"But when you seeJerusalem2surrounded by armies, thenrecognize that her desolation is near.

"Thenthosewho are in Judea must flee to the mountains, and thosewho are in the midst of the city must leave, and 3thosewho are in the country must not enter the city;

becausethese are 4days of vengeance, so that allthings which are written will be fulfilled.

"Woe to those who are pregnant and to those who are nursingbabies in thosedays; for 5there will be greatdistress upon the land and wrath to thispeople;

and they will fall by 6the edge of the sword, and will be ledcaptive into all the nations; and 7Jerusalem will be 8trampledunder foot by the Gentilesuntil9the times of the Gentiles are fulfilled.

25"There will be signs in sun and moon and stars, and on the earthdismay among nations, in perplexity at the roaring of the sea and the waves,

menfainting from fear and the expectation of the things which are coming upon the world; for the powers of the heavens will be shaken.
