becausethese are 1days of vengeance, so that allthings which are written will be fulfilled.

"Woe to those who are pregnant and to those who are nursingbabies in thosedays; for 2there will be greatdistress upon the land and wrath to thispeople;

and they will fall by 3the edge of the sword, and will be ledcaptive into all the nations; and 4Jerusalem will be 5trampledunder foot by the Gentilesuntil6the times of the Gentiles are fulfilled.

25"There will be signs in sun and moon and stars, and on the earthdismay among nations, in perplexity at the roaring of the sea and the waves,

menfainting from fear and the expectation of the things which are coming upon the world; for the powers of the heavens will be shaken.

"7Then they will see8THE SON OF MANCOMING IN A CLOUD with power and greatglory.

"But when thesethingsbegin to takeplace, straighten up and lift up your heads, because9your redemption is drawingnear."

Then He told them a parable: "Behold the figtree and all the trees;

as soon* as they putforth leaves, you see it and 10know for yourselves that summer is nownear.

"So you also, when you seethesethingshappening, recognize that 11the kingdom of God is near.

"Truly I say to you, thisgeneration will not passawayuntilallthingstakeplace.
