And it was reported to Him, "Your mother and Your brothers are standingoutside, wishing to see You."

But He answered and said to them, "My mother and My brothers are these1who hear the word of God and do it."
Jesus Stills the Sea
222Now on one of those days Jesus and His disciplesgot into a boat, and He said to them, "Let us goover to the otherside of 3the lake."So they launched out.

But as they were sailing along He fellasleep; and a fiercegale of winddescended on 4the lake, and they began to be swamped and to be in danger.

They came to Jesus and woke Him up, saying, "5Master, Master, we are perishing!" And He got up and 6rebuked the wind and the surgingwaves, and they stopped, and it becamecalm.

And He said to them, "Where is your faith?" They were fearful and amazed, saying to oneanother, "Whothen is this, that He commandseven the winds and the water, and they obey Him?"
The Demoniac Cured
267Then they sailed to the country of the Gerasenes, which is oppositeGalilee.

And when He came out onto the land, He was met by a man from the city who was possessed with demons; and who had not put on any clothing for a longtime, and was not living in a house, but in the tombs.

SeeingJesus, he cried out and fellbefore Him, and said in a loudvoice, "8What business do we have with each other, Jesus, Son of 9the MostHighGod? I beg You, do not torment me."

For He had commanded the uncleanspirit to come out of the man. For it had seized him manytimes; and he was bound with chains and shackles and keptunderguard, and yet he would break his bonds and be driven by the demon into the desert.

And Jesusasked him, "What is your name?" And he said, "10Legion "; for manydemons had entered him.
