9In His teaching He was saying: "Beware of the scribes who like to walkaround in longrobes, and like 10respectful greetings in the marketplaces,

and chiefseats in the synagogues and places of honor at banquets,

11who devourwidows'houses, and for appearance'ssakeofferlongprayers; these will receivegreatercondemnation."
