And He wondered at their unbelief. 1And He was goingaround* the villagesteaching.
The Twelve Sent Out
72And 3He summoned the twelve and began to send them out 4in pairs, and gave them authority over the uncleanspirits;

5and He instructed them that they should takenothing for their journey, except a merestaff-nobread, nobag, nomoney in their belt -

but to wearsandals; and He added, "Do not put on twotunics."

And He said to them, "Wherever* you enter a house, staythereuntil you leavetown.
11
"Anyplace that does not receive you orlisten to you, as you go out from there, 6shake the dustoff the soles of your feet for a testimony against them."
12
7They went out and preached that men should repent.

And they were casting out manydemons and 8were anointing with oilmanysickpeople and healing them.
John's Fate Recalled
149And KingHerodheard of it, for His name had becomewellknown; and people were saying, "10John the Baptist has risen from the dead, and that is whythesemiraculouspowers are at work in Him."

But others were saying, "He is 11Elijah." And others were saying, "He is 12a prophet, likeone of the prophets of old."

But when Herodheard of it, he kept saying, "John, whom I beheaded, has risen!"
