But He did not answer her a word. And His disciplescame and implored Him, saying, "Send her away, because she keeps shouting at us."

But He answered and said, "I was sentonly** to 1the lostsheep of the house of Israel."

But she came and 2began to bowdownbefore Him, saying, "Lord, help me!"
26
And He answered and said, "It is not good to take the children'sbread and throw it to the dogs."
27
But she said, "Yes, Lord; but even the dogsfeed on the crumbs which fall from their masters'table."
28
ThenJesussaid to her, "Owoman, 3your faith is great; it shall be done for you as you wish." And her daughter was healed at once*.
Healing Crowds
294Departing from there, Jesuswentalong by 5the Sea of Galilee, and having gone up on the mountain, He was sittingthere.

And largecrowdscame to Him, bringing with them those who were lame, crippled, blind, mute, and manyothers, and they laid them down at His feet; and 6He healed them.
31
So the crowdmarveled as they saw the mutespeaking, the crippledrestored, and the lamewalking, and the blindseeing; and they 7glorified the God of Israel.
Four Thousand Fed
328And Jesuscalled His disciples to Him, and said, "9I feelcompassion for the people, because they have remained with Me nowthreedays and havenothing* to eat; and I do not want to send them awayhungry, for they might faint on the way."

The disciplessaid to Him, "Where would we get somanyloaves in this desolateplace to satisfysuch a largecrowd?"
