Matthew 6:11-21

'1Give us this day our daily bread.
'And 2forgive us our debts, as we also have forgiven our debtors.
'And do not lead us into temptation, but 3deliver us from 4evil. [For Yours is the kingdom and the power and the glory forever. Amen.']
"5For if you forgive others for their transgressions, your heavenly Father will also forgive you.
"But 6if you do not forgive others, then your Father will not forgive your transgressions.

Fasting; The True Treasure; Wealth (Mammon)

"7Whenever you fast, do not put on a gloomy face as the hypocrites do, for they neglect their appearance so that they will be noticed by men when they are fasting. 8Truly I say to you, they have their reward in full.
"But you, when you fast, 9anoint your head and wash your face
so that your fasting will not be noticed by men, but by your Father who is in secret; and your 10Father who sees what is done in secret will reward you.
"11Do not store up for yourselves treasures on earth, where moth and rust destroy, and where thieves break in and steal.
"But store up for yourselves 12treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust destroys, and where thieves do not break in or steal;
for 13where your treasure is, there your heart will be also.
