Jesussaid to him, "The foxeshaveholes and the birds of the air have nests, but 1the Son of Manhasnowhere* to lay His head."

Another of the disciplessaid to Him, "Lord, permit me first to go and bury my father."

But Jesussaid to him, "2Follow Me, and allow the dead to bury their owndead."

3When He got into the boat, His disciplesfollowed Him.

And behold, there arose a greatstorm on the sea, so that the boat was beingcovered with the waves; but Jesus Himself was asleep.
25
And they came to Him and woke Him, saying, "4Save us, Lord; we are perishing!"
26
He said to them, "Why are you afraid, 5you men of littlefaith?"Then He got up and rebuked the winds and the sea, and it becameperfectlycalm.
27
The men were amazed, and said, "Whatkind of a man is this, that even the winds and the seaobey Him?"
Jesus Casts Out Demons
286When He came to the otherside into the country of the Gadarenes, two men who were 7demon-possessedmet Him as they were coming out of the tombs. They were so extremelyviolent that noonecouldpass by that way.

And they cried out, saying, "8What business do we have with each other, Son of God? Have You comehere to torment us before the time?"

Now there was a herd of manyswinefeeding at a distance from them.
