As Jesuswent on from there, twoblindmenfollowed Him, crying out, "Havemercy on us, 2Son of David!"

When He entered the house, the blindmencame up to Him, and Jesussaid to them, "Do you believe that I amable to dothis?" They said to Him, "Yes, Lord."

Then He touched their eyes, saying, "It shall be done to you 3according to your faith."

And their eyes were opened. And Jesus4sternlywarned them: "See that nooneknows about this!"

But they went out and 5spread the news about Him throughoutall that land.

As they were going out, 6a mute, 7demon-possessedman was brought to Him.

After the demon was cast out, the mutemanspoke; and the crowds were amazed, and were saying, "8Nothinglikethis has ever been seen in Israel."

But the Pharisees were saying, "He 9casts out the demons by the ruler of the demons."

Jesus was goingthroughall the cities and villages, 10teaching in their synagogues and proclaiming the gospel of the kingdom, and healingeverykind of disease and everykind of sickness.

11Seeing the people, He feltcompassion for them, 12because they were distressed and dispiritedlikesheepwithout* a shepherd.
