Psalms 19:7-11

7 The law of the LORD is perfect, restoring the soul; The testimony of the LORD is sure, making wise the simple.
8 The precepts of the LORD are right, rejoicing the heart; The commandment of the LORD is pure, enlightening the eyes.
9 The fear of the LORD is clean, enduring forever; The judgments of the LORD are true; they are righteous altogether.
10 They are more desirable than gold, yes, than much fine gold; Sweeter also than honey and the drippings of the honeycomb.
11 Moreover, by them Your servant is warned; In keeping them there is great reward.

Psalms 119:97-104

97 O how I love Your law! It is my meditation all the day.
98 Your commandments make me wiser than my enemies, For they are ever mine.
99 I have more insight than all my teachers, For Your testimonies are my meditation.
100 I understand more than the aged, Because I have observed Your precepts.
101 I have restrained my feet from every evil way, That I may keep Your word.
102 I have not turned aside from Your ordinances, For You Yourself have taught me.
103 How sweet are Your words to my taste! Yes, sweeter than honey to my mouth!
104 From Your precepts I get understanding; Therefore I hate every false way. Nun.

Deuteronomy 32:1-13

1 "Give ear, O heavens, and let me speak; And let the earth hear the words of my mouth.
2 "Let my teaching drop as the rain, My speech distill as the dew, As the droplets on the fresh grass And as the showers on the herb.
3 "For I proclaim the name of the LORD ; Ascribe greatness to our God!
4 "The Rock! His work is perfect, For all His ways are just; A God of faithfulness and without injustice, Righteous and upright is He.
5 "They have acted corruptly toward Him, They are not His children, because of their defect; But are a perverse and crooked generation.
6 "Do you thus repay the LORD , O foolish and unwise people? Is not He your Father who has bought you? He has made you and established you.
7 "Remember the days of old, Consider the years of all generations. Ask your father, and he will inform you, Your elders, and they will tell you.
8 "When the Most High gave the nations their inheritance, When He separated the sons of man, He set the boundaries of the peoples According to the number of the sons of Israel.
9 "For the LORD'S portion is His people; Jacob is the allotment of His inheritance.
10 "He found him in a desert land, And in the howling waste of a wilderness; He encircled him, He cared for him, He guarded him as the pupil of His eye.
11 "Like an eagle that stirs up its nest, That hovers over its young, He spread His wings and caught them, He carried them on His pinions.
12 "The LORD alone guided him, And there was no foreign god with him.
13 "He made him ride on the high places of the earth, And he ate the produce of the field; And He made him suck honey from the rock, And oil from the flinty rock,

Psalms 81

1 Sing for joy to God our strength; Shout joyfully to the God of Jacob.
2 Raise a song, strike the timbrel, The sweet sounding lyre with the harp.
3 Blow the trumpet at the new moon, At the full moon, on our feast day.
4 For it is a statute for Israel, An ordinance of the God of Jacob.
5 He established it for a testimony in Joseph When he went throughout the land of Egypt. I heard a language that I did not know:
6 "I relieved his shoulder of the burden, His hands were freed from the basket.
7 "You called in trouble and I rescued you; I answered you in the hiding place of thunder; I proved you at the waters of Meribah. Selah.
8 "Hear, O My people, and I will admonish you; O Israel, if you would listen to Me!
9 "Let there be no strange god among you; Nor shall you worship any foreign god.
10 "I, the LORD , am your God, Who brought you up from the land of Egypt; Open your mouth wide and I will fill it.
11 "But My people did not listen to My voice, And Israel did not obey Me.
12 "So I gave them over to the stubbornness of their heart, To walk in their own devices.
13 "Oh that My people would listen to Me, That Israel would walk in My ways!
14 "I would quickly subdue their enemies And turn My hand against their adversaries.
15 "Those who hate the LORD would pretend obedience to Him, And their time of punishment would be forever.
16 "But I would feed you with the finest of the wheat, And with honey from the rock I would satisfy you."
