For 12His anger is but for a moment, His 13favor is for a lifetime ; Weeping may 14last for the night, But a shout of joy comes in the morning.

Now as for me, I said in my prosperity, "I will 15never be moved."

O LORD, by Your favor You have made my mountain to standstrong ; You 16hid Your face, I was dismayed.

To You, O LORD, I called, And to the Lord I madesupplication :
9"Whatprofit is there in my blood, if I 17godown to the pit ? Will the 18dustpraise You? Will it declare Your faithfulness ?

"19Hear, O LORD, and be gracious to me; O LORD, be my 20helper."

You have turned for me 21my mourning into dancing ; You have 22loosed my sackcloth and girded me with 23gladness,

That my d24soul may singpraise to You and not be silent. O LORD my God, I will 25givethanks to You forever.
