Psalms 52
1
Why do you boast in evil, O mighty man? The lovingkindness of God endures all day long.
2
Your tongue devises destruction, Like a sharp razor, O worker of deceit.
3
You love evil more than good, Falsehood more than speaking what is right. Selah.
4
You love all words that devour, O deceitful tongue.
5
But God will break you down forever; He will snatch you up and tear you away from your tent, And uproot you from the land of the living. Selah.
6
The righteous will see and fear, And will laugh at him, saying,
7
"Behold, the man who would not make God his refuge, But trusted in the abundance of his riches And was strong in his evil desire."
8
But as for me, I am like a green olive tree in the house of God; I trust in the lovingkindness of God forever and ever.
9
I will give You thanks forever, because You have done it, And I will wait on Your name, for it is good, in the presence of Your godly ones.

Psalms 54
1
Save me, O God, by Your name, And vindicate me by Your power.
2
Hear my prayer, O God; Give ear to the words of my mouth.
3
For strangers have risen against me And violent men have sought my life; They have not set God before them. Selah.
4
Behold, God is my helper; The Lord is the sustainer of my soul.
5
He will recompense the evil to my foes; Destroy them in Your faithfulness.
6
Willingly I will sacrifice to You; I will give thanks to Your name, O LORD , for it is good.
7
For He has delivered me from all trouble, And my eye has looked with satisfaction upon my enemies.

Psalms 56
1
Be gracious to me, O God, for man has trampled upon me; Fighting all day long he oppresses me.
2
My foes have trampled upon me all day long, For they are many who fight proudly against me.
3
When I am afraid, I will put my trust in You.
4
In God, whose word I praise, In God I have put my trust; I shall not be afraid. What can mere man do to me?
5
All day long they distort my words; All their thoughts are against me for evil.
6
They attack, they lurk, They watch my steps, As they have waited to take my life.
7
Because of wickedness, cast them forth, In anger put down the peoples, O God!
8
You have taken account of my wanderings; Put my tears in Your bottle. Are they not in Your book?
9
Then my enemies will turn back in the day when I call; This I know, that God is for me.
10
In God, whose word I praise, In the LORD , whose word I praise,
11
In God I have put my trust, I shall not be afraid. What can man do to me?
12
Your vows are binding upon me, O God; I will render thank offerings to You.
13
For You have delivered my soul from death, Indeed my feet from stumbling, So that I may walk before God In the light of the living.

Psalms 57
1
Be gracious to me, O God, be gracious to me, For my soul takes refuge in You; And in the shadow of Your wings I will take refuge Until destruction passes by.
2
I will cry to God Most High, To God who accomplishes all things for me.
3
He will send from heaven and save me; He reproaches him who tramples upon me. Selah. God will send forth His lovingkindness and His truth.
4
My soul is among lions; I must lie among those who breathe forth fire, Even the sons of men, whose teeth are spears and arrows And their tongue a sharp sword.
5
Be exalted above the heavens, O God; Let Your glory be above all the earth.
6
They have prepared a net for my steps; My soul is bowed down; They dug a pit before me; They themselves have fallen into the midst of it. Selah.
7
My heart is steadfast, O God, my heart is steadfast; I will sing, yes, I will sing praises!
8
Awake, my glory! Awake, harp and lyre! I will awaken the dawn.
9
I will give thanks to You, O Lord , among the peoples; I will sing praises to You among the nations.
10
For Your lovingkindness is great to the heavens And Your truth to the clouds.
11
Be exalted above the heavens, O God; Let Your glory be above all the earth.

Psalms 142
1
I cry aloud with my voice to the LORD ; I make supplication with my voice to the LORD .
2
I pour out my complaint before Him; I declare my trouble before Him.
3
When my spirit was overwhelmed within me, You knew my path. In the way where I walk They have hidden a trap for me.
4
Look to the right and see; For there is no one who regards me; There is no escape for me; No one cares for my soul.
5
I cried out to You, O LORD ; I said, "You are my refuge, My portion in the land of the living.
6
"Give heed to my cry, For I am brought very low; Deliver me from my persecutors, For they are too strong for me.
7
"Bring my soul out of prison, So that I may give thanks to Your name; The righteous will surround me, For You will deal bountifully with me."
