4 May He grant you your ¹heart's desire And ²fulfill all your ^acounsel ! 5 ^bWe will ³sing for joy over your ^cvictory, And in the name of our God we will ⁴set up our banners. May the LORD ⁵fulfill all your petitions. 6 Now ⁶I know that the LORD saves His anointed ; He will ⁷answer him from His holy heaven With the ^d⁸saving strength of His right hand. 7 Some ^eboast in chariots and some in ⁹horses, But ¹⁰we ^fwill boast in the name of the LORD, our God. 8 They have ¹¹bowed down and fallen, But we have ¹²risen and stood upright. 9 ^g¹³Save, O LORD ; May the ¹⁴King answer us in the day we call.
