The LORD is my 1light and my 2salvation; Whom shall I fear? The LORD is the a3defense of my life; 4Whom shall I dread?
When evildoerscame upon me to 5devour my flesh, My adversaries and my enemies, they 6stumbled and fell.
3Though a 7hostencampagainst me, My heart will not fear; Thoughwarariseagainst me, In spite of this I bshall be 8confident.
49Onething I have asked from the LORD, that I shall seek: That I may 10dwell in the house of the LORDall the days of my life, To behold11the cbeauty of the LORD And to d12meditate in His temple.
For in the 13day of trouble He will 14conceal me in His etabernacle; In the secretplace of His tent He will 15hide me; He will 16lift me up on a rock.
And now17my head will be lifted up above my enemiesaround me, And I will offer in His tent18sacrificesfwith shouts of joy; I will 19sing, yes, I will singpraises to the LORD.
