1Then I saw1a newheaven and a newearth; for 2the firstheaven and the firstearthpassedaway, and there is nolonger any sea.
And I saw3the holycity, 4newJerusalem, 5comingdown out of heaven from God, 6madeready as a brideadorned for her husband.
And I heard a loudvoice from the throne, saying, "Behold, 7the tabernacle of God is amongmen, and He will a8dwellamong them, and they shall be His people, and GodHimself will be among themb,
and He will 9wipeawayeverytear from their eyes; and 10there will nolonger be any death; 11there will nolonger be any mourning, orcrying, orpain; 12the firstthings have passedaway."
And 13He who sits on the thronesaid, "Behold, I am 14makingallthingsnew." And He said, "Write, for 15thesewords are faithful and true."
6Then He said to me, "c16It is done. I am the 17Alpha and the Omega, the beginning and the end. 18I will give to the one who thirsts from the spring of the 19water of lifewithoutcost.
"20He who overcomes will inheritthesethings, and 21I will be his God and he will be My son.
"22But for the cowardly and dunbelieving and abominable and murderers and immoralpersons and sorcerers and idolaters and allliars, their part will be in 23the lake that burns with fire and ebrimstone, which is the 24seconddeath."
925Thenone of the sevenangels who had the 26sevenbowlsffull of the 27sevenlastplaguescame and spoke with me, saying, "28Comehere, I will show you the 29bride, the wife of the Lamb."
