and are confident that you yourself are a guide to the blind, a light to those who are in darkness,
a acorrector of the foolish, a teacher of bthe immature, having in the Law1the embodiment of knowledge and of the truth,
you, therefore, 2who teachanother, do you not teachyourself ? You who cpreach that one shall not steal, do you steal ?
You who say that one should not commitadultery, do you commitadultery ? You who abhoridols, do you 3robtemples ?
You who4boastdin the Law, through your breaking the Law, do you dishonorGod ?
For "5THE NAME OF GOD IS BLASPHEMEDAMONG THE GENTILES6BECAUSE OF YOU," just as it is written.
For indeedcircumcision is of valueif you 7practiceethe Law ; but if you are a transgressorfof the Law, 8your circumcision has becomeuncircumcision.
269Soif10the guncircumcisedman11keeps the requirements of the Law, will not his uncircumcision be regarded as circumcision ?
And 12he who is physicallyuncircumcised, if he keeps the Law, will he not 13judge you whohthough having the letter of the Law and circumcision are a transgressoriof the Law ?
For 14he is not a Jewwho is one outwardly , nor is circumcision that which is outward in the flesh.
But 15he is a Jewwho is one inwardly ; and 16circumcision is that which is of the heart, by the 17Spirit, not by the letter ; 18and his praise is not from men, but from God.
