(as it is written, "5A FATHER OF MANYNATIONS HAVE I MADE YOU") in the presence of Him whom he believed, even God, 6who giveslife to the dead and e7calls into being8that which does not exist.
In hopeagainsthope he believed, so that he might become9a father of manynationsaccording to that which had been spoken, "10SO SHALL YOUR fDESCENDANTS BE."
19Withoutbecomingweak in faith he contemplated his ownbody, now 11as good as dead since 12he was about a hundredyearsold, and 13the deadness of Sarah'swomb;
20yet, with respect to the promise of God, he did not waver in unbelief but grewstrong in faith, 14givingglory to God,
and 15being fullyassured that 16what God had promised, He was ablealso to perform.
22Therefore17IT WAS ALSOCREDITED TO HIM AS RIGHTEOUSNESS.
