and ifchildren, 1heirsalso, heirs of God and fellowheirs with Christ, 2ifindeed we suffer with Him so that we may also be glorified with Him.
For I consider that the sufferings of thispresenttime3are not worthy to be compared with the 4glory that is to be revealed to us.
For the 5anxiouslonging of the creationwaitseagerly for 6the revealing of the 7sons of God.
For the creation8was subjected to 9futility, not willingly, but 10because of Him who subjected it, ain hope21
that 11the creationitselfalso will be setfree from its slavery to corruption into the freedom of the glory of the children of God.
For we know that the wholecreation12groans and suffers the pains of childbirthtogetheruntilnow.
2313And not only this, but also we ourselves, having14the firstfruits of the Spirit, even we ourselves15groanwithinourselves, 16waitingeagerly for our adoption as sons, 17the redemption of our body.
For 18in hope we have been saved, but 19hope that is seen is not hope; for whohopes for what he already sees?
But 20if we hope for what we do not see, with perseverance we waiteagerly for it.
In the sameway the Spiritalsohelps our weakness; for 21we do not knowhow to pray as we should, but 22the SpiritHimselfintercedes for us with groaningstoodeep for words;
and 23He who searches the heartsknowswhat24the mind of the Spirit is, because He 25intercedes for the bsaintsaccording to the will of God.
