231And not only this, but also we ourselves, having2the firstfruits of the Spirit, even we ourselves3groanwithinourselves, 4waitingeagerly for our adoption as sons, 5the redemption of our body.
For 6in hope we have been saved, but 7hope that is seen is not hope; for whohopes for what he already sees?
But 8if we hope for what we do not see, with perseverance we waiteagerly for it.
In the sameway the Spiritalsohelps our weakness; for 9we do not knowhow to pray as we should, but 10the SpiritHimselfintercedes for us with groaningstoodeep for words;
and 11He who searches the heartsknowswhat12the mind of the Spirit is, because He 13intercedes for the asaintsaccording to the will of God.
And we know that bGodcauses14allthings to worktogether for good to those who loveGod, to those who are 15calledaccording to His purpose.
