and those who are 1in the fleshcannotpleaseGod.
9However, you are not 2in the flesh but in the Spirit, ifindeed the Spirit of God3dwells in you. But 4ifanyone does not have the Spirit of Christ, he does not belong to Him.
105IfChrist is in you, though the body is deadbecause of sin, yet the spirit is aalivebecause of righteousness.
But if the Spirit of Him who 6raisedJesus from the deaddwells in you, 7He who raised8ChristJesus from the dead will alsogivelife to your mortalbodiesbthrough His Spirit who dwells in you.
12Sothen, brethren, we are underobligation, not to the flesh, to liveaccording to the flesh -
for 9if you are livingaccording to the flesh, you cmustdie ; but if by the Spirit you are 10putting to death the deeds of the body, you will live.
For allwho are 11being led by the Spirit of God, these are 12sons of God.
For you 13have not received a spirit of slaverydleading to fearagain, but you 14have receivedea spirit of adoption as sons by which we cry out, "15Abba ! Father !"
The SpiritHimself16testifies with our spirit that we are 17children of God,
and ifchildren, 18heirsalso, heirs of God and fellowheirs with Christ, 19ifindeed we suffer with Him so that we may also be glorified with Him.
For I consider that the sufferings of thispresenttime20are not worthy to be compared with the 21glory that is to be revealed to us.
