Ezekiel 37:20

And the sticks whereon thou writest
Or art about to write the above things, according to order and direction: shall be in thine hand before their eyes;
shall be held up to them to look at for some time, and observe the cement of the two sticks; and learn and lay up in their minds what is meant by this emblem; and be assured that what is hereafter said as a further explication of it shall certainly be fulfilled.

18 »Cuando la gente de tu pueblo te pregunte: “¿Qué significa todo esto?”,

19 tú les responderás que así dice el SEÑOR omnipotente: “Voy a tomar la vara de José que está en la mano de Efraín, y a las tribus de Israel que están unidas a él, y la uniré a la vara de Judá. Así haré con ellos una sola vara, y en mi mano serán una sola”.

20 Sostén en tu mano las varas sobre las cuales has escrito, de modo que ellos las vean,

21 y adviérteles que así dice el SEÑOR omnipotente: “Tomaré a los israelitas de entre las naciones por donde han andado, y de todas partes los reuniré y los haré regresar a su propia tierra.

22 Y en esta tierra, en los montes de Israel, haré de ellos una sola nación. Todos estarán bajo un solo rey, y nunca más serán dos naciones ni estarán divididos en dos reinos.
