Jeremiah 26:23

And they fetched forth Urijah out of Egypt
Having found him, they seized him, and brought him away, with the leave of the king of Egypt: which, no doubt, was easily obtained: and brought him to Jehoiakim the king, who slew him with the sword;
very probably with his own hand; or however it was done by his order, and in his presence, most likely: and cast his dead body into the graves of the common people;
either where they were buried in heaps promiscuously, as some think; or in the common burying ground; and not where persons of distinction were laid, as prophets, and others F7; this he did to reflect dishonour upon the prophet.

21 Quando o rei Jeoaquim, todos os seus homens de guerra e os seus oficiais ouviram isso, o rei procurou matá-lo. Sabendo disso, Urias teve medo e fugiu para o Egito.
22 Mas o rei Jeoaquim mandou ao Egito Elnatã, filho de Acbor, e com ele alguns homens,
23 os quais trouxeram Urias do Egito e o levaram ao rei Jeoaquim, que o mandou matar à espada. Depois, jogaram o corpo dele numa vala comum.
24 Mas Aicam, filho de Safã, protegeu Jeremias, impedindo que ele fosse entregue ao povo para ser executado.
