Lexham English Bible (LEB) New International Version (NIV)
Out of [the] depths I call to you, O Yahweh. 1 Out of the depths I cry to you, O LORD;
"O Lord, hear my voice. Let your ears be attentive to the voice of my supplications. 2 O Lord, hear my voice. Let your ears be attentive to my cry for mercy.
If you, O Yah, should {keep track of} iniquities, O Lord, who could stand? 3 If you, O LORD, kept a record of sins, O Lord, who could stand?
But with you [is] forgiveness, so that you may be feared." 4 But with you there is forgiveness; therefore you are feared.
I await Yahweh; my soul awaits, and I wait for his word. 5 I wait for the LORD, my soul waits, and in his word I put my hope.
My soul [waits] for the Lord more than watchmen for the morning. Yes, [more than] watchmen for the morning. 6 My soul waits for the Lord more than watchmen wait for the morning, more than watchmen wait for the morning.
O Israel, wait for Yahweh. For with Yahweh [there is] loyal love, and with him [there is] abundant redemption. 7 O Israel, put your hope in the LORD, for with the LORD is unfailing love and with him is full redemption.
And he will redeem Israel from all its iniquities. 8 He himself will redeem Israel from all their sins.
