New Revised Standard (NRS) New International Version (NIV)
On the way to Jerusalem Jesus was going through the region between Samaria and Galilee. 11 Now on his way to Jerusalem, Jesus traveled along the border between Samaria and Galilee.
As he entered a village, ten lepers approached him. Keeping their distance, 12 As he was going into a village, ten men who had leprosy met him. They stood at a distance
they called out, saying, "Jesus, Master, have mercy on us!" 13 and called out in a loud voice, "Jesus, Master, have pity on us!"
When he saw them, he said to them, "Go and show yourselves to the priests." And as they went, they were made clean. 14 When he saw them, he said, "Go, show yourselves to the priests." And as they went, they were cleansed.
Then one of them, when he saw that he was healed, turned back, praising God with a loud voice. 15 One of them, when he saw he was healed, came back, praising God in a loud voice.
He prostrated himself at Jesus' feet and thanked him. And he was a Samaritan. 16 He threw himself at Jesus' feet and thanked him--and he was a Samaritan.
Then Jesus asked, "Were not ten made clean? But the other nine, where are they? 17 Jesus asked, "Were not all ten cleansed? Where are the other nine?
Was none of them found to return and give praise to God except this foreigner?" 18 Was no one found to return and give praise to God except this foreigner?"
Then he said to him, "Get up and go on your way; your faith has made you well." 19 Then he said to him, "Rise and go; your faith has made you well."
