I will give You thanks with all my heart; I will sing praises to You before the gods. 1 I will praise you, O LORD, with all my heart; before the "gods" I will sing your praise.
I will bow down toward Your holy temple And give thanks to Your name for Your lovingkindness and Your truth; For You have magnified Your word according to all Your name. 2 I will bow down toward your holy temple and will praise your name for your love and your faithfulness, for you have exalted above all things your name and your word.
On the day I called, You answered me; You made me bold with strength in my soul. 3 When I called, you answered me; you made me bold and stouthearted.
All the kings of the earth will give thanks to You, O LORD, When they have heard the words of Your mouth. 4 May all the kings of the earth praise you, O LORD, when they hear the words of your mouth.
And they will sing of the ways of the LORD, For great is the glory of the LORD. 5 May they sing of the ways of the LORD, for the glory of the LORD is great.
For though the LORD is exalted, Yet He regards the lowly, But the haughty He knows from afar. 6 Though the LORD is on high, he looks upon the lowly, but the proud he knows from afar.
Though I walk in the midst of trouble, You will revive me; You will stretch forth Your hand against the wrath of my enemies, And Your right hand will save me. 7 Though I walk in the midst of trouble, you preserve my life; you stretch out your hand against the anger of my foes, with your right hand you save me.
The LORD will accomplish what concerns me; Your lovingkindness, O LORD, is everlasting; Do not forsake the works of Your hands. 8 The LORD will fulfill [his purpose] for me; your love, O LORD, endures forever-- do not abandon the works of your hands.
