NRS 1 These are the sons of Israel: Reuben, Simeon, Levi, Judah, Issachar, Zebulun, NIV 1 These were the sons of Israel: Reuben, Simeon, Levi, Judah, Issachar, Zebulun, NRS 2 Dan, Joseph, Benjamin, Naphtali, Gad, and Asher. NRS 22 and Segub became the father of Jair, who had twenty-three towns in the land of Gilead. NIV 22 Segub was the father of Jair, who controlled twenty-three towns in Gilead. NRS 23 But Geshur and Aram took from them Havvoth-jair, Kenath and its villages, sixty towns. All these were descendants of Machir, father of Gilead. NIV 23 (But Geshur and Aram captured Havvoth Jair, as well as Kenath with its surrounding settlements--sixty towns.) All these were descendants of Makir the father of Gilead. NRS 24 After the death of Hezron, in Caleb-ephrathah, Abijah wife of Hezron bore him Ashhur, father of Tekoa. NIV 53 and the clans of Kiriath Jearim: the Ithrites, Puthites, Shumathites and Mishraites. From these descended the Zorathites and Eshtaolites. NRS 54 The sons of Salma: Bethlehem, the Netophathites, Atroth-beth-joab, and half of the Manahathites, the Zorites. NIV 54 The descendants of Salma: Bethlehem, the Netophathites, Atroth Beth Joab, half the Manahathites, the Zorites, NRS 55 The families also of the scribes that lived at Jabez: the Tirathites, the Shimeathites, and the Sucathites. These are the Kenites who came from Hammath, father of the house of Rechab. NIV 55 and the clans of scribes who lived at Jabez: the Tirathites, Shimeathites and Sucathites.
