1 And it came to pass that the people complained in an evil manner in the ears of the LORD, and the LORD heard <em>it</em>; and his anger was kindled, and the fire of the LORD burnt among them and consumed in the uttermost parts of the camp.
1 Now the people complained about their hardships in the hearing of the LORD, and when he heard them his anger was aroused. Then fire from the LORD burned among them and consumed some of the outskirts of the camp.
