MSG 8 With that, Peter, full of the Holy Spirit, let loose: "Rulers and leaders of the people, NIV 8 Then Peter, filled with the Holy Spirit, said to them: "Rulers and elders of the people! MSG 9 if we have been brought to trial today for helping a sick man, put under investigation regarding this healing, NIV 9 If we are being called to account today for an act of kindness shown to a cripple and are asked how he was healed, MSG 10 I'll be completely frank with you - we have nothing to hide. By the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, the One you killed on a cross, the One God raised from the dead, by means of his name this man stands before you healthy and whole. NIV 10 then know this, you and all the people of Israel: It is by the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, whom you crucified but whom God raised from the dead, that this man stands before you healed. MSG 11 Jesus is 'the stone you masons threw out, which is now the cornerstone.' NIV 11 He is " 'the stone you builders rejected, which has become the capstone. ' MSG 12 Salvation comes no other way; no other name has been or will be given to us by which we can be saved, only this one."
