Ephesians 5:20-30

KJV 20 Giving thanks always for all things unto God and the Father in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ; NIV 20 always giving thanks to God the Father for everything, in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ. KJV 21 Submitting yourselves one to another in the fear of God. NIV 21 Submit to one another out of reverence for Christ. KJV 22 Wives, submit yourselves unto your own husbands, as unto the Lord. NIV 22 Wives, submit to your husbands as to the Lord. KJV 23 For the husband is the head of the wife, even as Christ is the head of the church: and he is the saviour of the body. NIV 23 For the husband is the head of the wife as Christ is the head of the church, his body, of which he is the Savior. KJV 24 Therefore as the church is subject unto Christ, so let the wives be to their own husbands in every thing. NIV 24 Now as the church submits to Christ, so also wives should submit to their husbands in everything. KJV 25 Husbands, love your wives, even as Christ also loved the church, and gave himself for it; NIV 25 Husbands, love your wives, just as Christ loved the church and gave himself up for her KJV 26 That he might sanctify and cleanse it with the washing of water by the word, NIV 26 to make her holy, cleansing her by the washing with water through the word, KJV 27 That he might present it to himself a glorious church, not having spot, or wrinkle, or any such thing; but that it should be holy and without blemish. NIV 27 and to present her to himself as a radiant church, without stain or wrinkle or any other blemish, but holy and blameless. KJV 28 So ought men to love their wives as their own bodies. He that loveth his wife loveth himself. NIV 28 In this same way, husbands ought to love their wives as their own bodies. He who loves his wife loves himself. KJV 29 For no man ever yet hated his own flesh; but nourisheth and cherisheth it, even as the Lord the church: NIV 29 After all, no one ever hated his own body, but he feeds and cares for it, just as Christ does the church-- KJV 30 For we are members of his body, of his flesh, and of his bones. NIV 30 for we are members of his body.
