WEB 1 "You shall not spread a false report. Don't join your hand with the wicked to be a malicious witness. NIV 1 "Do not spread false reports. Do not help a wicked man by being a malicious witness. WEB 2 You shall not follow a crowd to do evil; neither shall you testify in court to side with a multitude to pervert justice; NIV 2 "Do not follow the crowd in doing wrong. When you give testimony in a lawsuit, do not pervert justice by siding with the crowd, WEB 3 neither shall you favor a poor man in his cause. NIV 3 and do not show favoritism to a poor man in his lawsuit. WEB 4 "If you meet your enemy's ox or his donkey going astray, you shall surely bring it back to him again NIV 4 "If you come across your enemy's ox or donkey wandering off, be sure to take it back to him. WEB 5 If you see the donkey of him who hates you fallen down under his burden, don't leave him, you shall surely help him with it. WEB 10 "For six years you shall sow your land, and shall gather in its increase, NIV 10 "For six years you are to sow your fields and harvest the crops, WEB 11 but the seventh year you shall let it rest and lie fallow, that the poor of your people may eat; and what they leave the animal of the field shall eat. In like manner you shall deal with your vineyard and with your olive grove. NIV 11 but during the seventh year let the land lie unplowed and unused. Then the poor among your people may get food from it, and the wild animals may eat what they leave. Do the same with your vineyard and your olive grove. WEB 12 "Six days you shall do your work, and on the seventh day you shall rest, that your ox and your donkey may have rest, and the son of your handmaid, and the alien may be refreshed. NIV 12 "Six days do your work, but on the seventh day do not work, so that your ox and your donkey may rest and the slave born in your household, and the alien as well, may be refreshed. WEB 13 "Be careful to do all things that I have said to you; and don't invoke the name of other gods, neither let them be heard out of your mouth. WEB 14 "You shall observe a feast to me three times a year NIV 14 "Three times a year you are to celebrate a festival to me WEB 15 You shall observe the feast of unleavened bread. Seven days you shall eat unleavened bread, as I commanded you, at the time appointed in the month Abib (for in it you came out from Egypt), and no one shall appear before me empty. NIV 15 "Celebrate the Feast of Unleavened Bread; for seven days eat bread made without yeast, as I commanded you. Do this at the appointed time in the month of Abib, for in that month you came out of Egypt. "No one is to appear before me empty-handed. WEB 16 And the feast of harvest, the first fruits of your labors, which you sow in the field: and the feast of harvest, at the end of the year, when you gather in your labors out of the field. NIV 16 "Celebrate the Feast of Harvest with the firstfruits of the crops you sow in your field. "Celebrate the Feast of Ingathering at the end of the year, when you gather in your crops from the field. WEB 17 Three times in the year all your males shall appear before the Lord Yahweh. WEB 18 "You shall not offer the blood of my sacrifice with leavened bread, neither shall the fat of my feast remain all night until the morning. NIV 18 "Do not offer the blood of a sacrifice to me along with anything containing yeast. "The fat of my festival offerings must not be kept until morning. WEB 19 The first of the first fruits of your ground you shall bring into the house of Yahweh your God. "You shall not boil a kid in its mother's milk NIV 19 "Bring the best of the firstfruits of your soil to the house of the LORD your God. "Do not cook a young goat in its mother's milk. WEB 20 "Behold, I send an angel before you, to keep you by the way, and to bring you into the place which I have prepared. NIV 20 "See, I am sending an angel ahead of you to guard you along the way and to bring you to the place I have prepared. WEB 21 Pay attention to him, and listen to his voice. Don't provoke him, for he will not pardon your disobedience, for my name is in him NIV 21 Pay attention to him and listen to what he says. WEB 23 For my angel shall go before you, and bring you in to the Amorite, the Hittite, the Perizzite, the Canaanite, the Hivite, and the Jebusite; and I will cut them off. NIV 23 My angel will go ahead of you and bring you into the land of the Amorites, Hittites, Perizzites, Canaanites, Hivites and Jebusites, and I will wipe them out. WEB 24 You shall not bow down to their gods, nor serve them, nor follow their practices, but you shall utterly overthrow them and demolish their pillars. NIV 24 Do not bow down before their gods or worship them or follow their practices. You must demolish them and break their sacred stones to pieces. WEB 25 You shall serve Yahweh your God, and he will bless your bread and your water, and I will take sickness away from your midst. NIV 25 Worship the LORD your God, and his blessing will be on your food and water. I will take away sickness from among you, WEB 26 No one will miscarry or be barren in your land. I will fulfill the number of your days. NIV 26 and none will miscarry or be barren in your land. I will give you a full life span. WEB 27 I will send my terror before you, and will confuse all the people to whom you come, and I will make all your enemies turn their backs to you. NIV 27 "I will send my terror ahead of you and throw into confusion every nation you encounter. I will make all your enemies turn their backs and run. WEB 28 I will send the hornet before you, which will drive out the Hivite, the Canaanite, and the Hittite, from before you. NIV 28 I will send the hornet ahead of you to drive the Hivites, Canaanites and Hittites out of your way. WEB 29 I will not drive them out from before you in one year, lest the land become desolate, and the animals of the field multiply against you. NIV 29 But I will not drive them out in a single year, because the land would become desolate and the wild animals too numerous for you. WEB 30 Little by little I will drive them out from before you, until you have increased and inherit the land. NIV 30 Little by little I will drive them out before you, until you have increased enough to take possession of the land. WEB 31 I will set your border from the Red Sea even to the sea of the Philistines, and from the wilderness to the River; for I will deliver the inhabitants of the land into your hand, and you shall drive them out before you. NIV 31 "I will establish your borders from the Red Sea to the Sea of the Philistines, and from the desert to the River. I will hand over to you the people who live in the land and you will drive them out before you. WEB 32 You shall make no covenant with them, nor with their gods. NIV 32 Do not make a covenant with them or with their gods. WEB 33 They shall not dwell in your land, lest they make you sin against me, for if you serve their gods, it will surely be a snare to you." NIV 33 Do not let them live in your land, or they will cause you to sin against me, because the worship of their gods will certainly be a snare to you."
