Galatians 6

RHE 1 Brethren, and if a man be overtaken in any fault, you, who are spiritual, instruct such a one in the spirit of meekness, considering thyself, lest thou also be tempted. NIV 1 Brothers, if someone is caught in a sin, you who are spiritual should restore him gently. But watch yourself, or you also may be tempted. RHE 2 Bear ye one another’s burdens: and so you shall fulfil the law of Christ. NIV 2 Carry each other's burdens, and in this way you will fulfill the law of Christ. RHE 3 For if any man think himself to be some thing, whereas he is nothing, he deceiveth himself. NIV 3 If anyone thinks he is something when he is nothing, he deceives himself. RHE 4 But let every one prove his own work: and so he shall have glory in himself only and not in another. NIV 4 Each one should test his own actions. Then he can take pride in himself, without comparing himself to somebody else, RHE 5 For every one shall bear his own burden. NIV 5 for each one should carry his own load. RHE 6 And let him that is instructed in the word communicate to him that instructeth him, in all good things. NIV 6 Anyone who receives instruction in the word must share all good things with his instructor. RHE 7 Be not deceived: God is not mocked. NIV 7 Do not be deceived: God cannot be mocked. A man reaps what he sows. RHE 8 For what things a man shall sow, those also shall he reap. For he that soweth in his flesh of the flesh also shall reap corruption. But he that soweth in the spirit of the spirit shall reap life everlasting. NIV 8 The one who sows to please his sinful nature, from that nature will reap destruction; the one who sows to please the Spirit, from the Spirit will reap eternal life. RHE 9 And in doing good, let us not fail. For in due time we shall reap, not failing. NIV 9 Let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up. RHE 10 Therefore, whilst we have time, let us work good to all men, but especially to those who are of the household of the faith. NIV 10 Therefore, as we have opportunity, let us do good to all people, especially to those who belong to the family of believers. RHE 11 See what a letter I have written to you with my own hand. NIV 11 See what large letters I use as I write to you with my own hand! RHE 12 For as many as desire to please in the flesh, they constrain you to be circumcised, only that they may not suffer the persecution of the cross of Christ. NIV 12 Those who want to make a good impression outwardly are trying to compel you to be circumcised. The only reason they do this is to avoid being persecuted for the cross of Christ. RHE 13 For neither they themselves who are circumcised keep the law: but they will have you to be circumcised, that they may glory in your flesh. NIV 13 Not even those who are circumcised obey the law, yet they want you to be circumcised that they may boast about your flesh. RHE 14 But God forbid that I should glory, save in the cross of our Lord Jesus Christ: by whom the world is crucified to me, and I to the world. NIV 14 May I never boast except in the cross of our Lord Jesus Christ, through which the world has been crucified to me, and I to the world. RHE 15 For in Christ Jesus neither circumcision availeth any thing, nor uncircumcision: but a new creature. NIV 15 Neither circumcision nor uncircumcision means anything; what counts is a new creation. RHE 16 And whosoever shall follow this rule, peace on them and mercy: and upon the Israel of God. NIV 16 Peace and mercy to all who follow this rule, even to the Israel of God. RHE 17 From henceforth let no man be troublesome to me: for I bear the marks of the Lord Jesus in my body. NIV 17 Finally, let no one cause me trouble, for I bear on my body the marks of Jesus. RHE 18 The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with your spirit, brethren. Amen. NIV 18 The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with your spirit, brothers. Amen.
