And the kings of Sodom and Gomorrah fled, and fell there: and they that remained fled to the mountain. NIV 10 Now the Valley of Siddim was full of tar pits, and when the kings of Sodom and Gomorrah fled, some of the men fell into them and the rest fled to the hills. DBY 11 And they took all the property of Sodom and Gomorrah, and all their victuals, and departed. NIV 11 The four kings seized all the goods of Sodom and Gomorrah and all their food; then they went away. DBY 12 And they took Lot and his property, Abram's brother's son, and departed. For he dwelt in Sodom. NIV 12 They also carried off Abram's nephew Lot and his possessions, since he was living in Sodom. DBY 13 And one who had escaped came and told Abram the Hebrew. And he dwelt by the oaks of Mamre the Amorite, the brother of Eshcol, and the brother of Aner. And these were Abram's allies. NIV 13 One who had escaped came and reported this to Abram the Hebrew. Now Abram was living near the great trees of Mamre the Amorite, a brother of Eshcol and Aner, all of whom were allied with Abram. DBY 14 And Abram heard that his brother was taken captive; and he led out his trained [servants], born in his house, three hundred and eighteen, and pursued [them] as far as Dan. NIV 14 When Abram heard that his relative had been taken captive, he called out the 318 trained men born in his household and went in pursuit as far as Dan. DBY 15 And he divided himself against them by night, he and his servants, and smote them, and pursued them as far as Hobah, which is to the left of Damascus. NIV 15 During the night Abram divided his men to attack them and he routed them, pursuing them as far as Hobah, north of Damascus. DBY 16 And he brought back all the property, and brought again his brother Lot and his property, and the women also, and the people. NIV 16 He recovered all the goods and brought back his relative Lot and his possessions, together with the women and the other people. DBY 17 And the king of Sodom went out to meet him after he had returned from smiting Chedorlaomer, and the kings that were with him, into the valley of Shaveh, which is the king's valley. DBY 24 save only that which the young men have eaten, and the portion of the men that went with me, Aner, Eshcol, and Mamre, let them take their portion. NIV 24 I will accept nothing but what my men have eaten and the share that belongs to the men who went with me--to Aner, Eshcol and Mamre. Let them have their share."
